The Camasonian is Camas High School’s student-run and managed news program. We cover local stories for local families and communities. Credibility

The Camasonian, being committed to the free expression of ideas, is an open forum for free expression of opinions, through all forms of media. The Camasonian is student-run and students make all decisions about content. The Camasonian is committed to being a credible news source, therefore, we confirm all facts before publishing. All multimedia found on our website is of our own creation unless otherwise credited. All opinions expressed on this website are not necessarily those of the Camas School District, its faculty, or its affiliates.

The Camasonian reserves the right to censor, reject or delete any and all materials it finds discriminatory on the grounds of sex, race, creed, religion, color, national origin, age, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, disability, or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal.

Letters to the Editor and Submissions

Letters to the editor and other submissions are encouraged and can be sent via our submission form. Signed articles will be accepted with no prior administrative review, as space is available. However, in attaining the highest journalistic standards, The Camasonian reserves the right to edit submissions. Furthermore, opinions expressed therein are those of the authors and not of this newspaper, Camas High School, or Camas School District and its affiliates. Advertising Policy

The Camasonian welcomes advertisements, however, the staff reserves the right to reject, edit, or cancel ads that are judged as offensive, inaccurate, misleading, libelous, or that encourage illegal activity.
