Researchers at Washington State University Vancouver want to find out more about how healthy teens respond to life’s every-day challenges, like meeting new people and coping with aches and pains. This study might be a good fit for you if you are between 14 and 17 years old, regularly attend school, and are healthy. Teens who participate in this study will come to our Health & Wellness lab in Vancouver, Washington to fill out a set of questionnaires, talk about their school experiences with other teens, and complete some tasks that will feel hot and cold. Two weeks after the lab visit, we will briefly check in with you via phone to ask follow-up questions about your experience participating in research. Teens who choose to participate will receive up to $50 in gift certificates and parents will also be compensated for transportation costs ($20 in gift cards). To take part in this study or for more information, you and your parents can contact Jessica Fales at [email protected] or 360.546.9717
