Most students have noticed the new art piece hanging in Camas High School, but not everyone knows what it is. Despite the announcement made to introduce the new chandelier, there have been questions dangling around.
The art was a two-week project made by the Everything In Art classes taught by Mr. Raunig who informed them of the project and allowed them to plan their piece. Most students wanted to show a piece of themselves in their art, so they made something that is significant to them. There is everything from hanging comedy and tragedy masks, to jellyfish, to abstract boxes. The art is an overall description of what those in our community represent and believe.
