“So Fight! Fight! Fight! We’re going to win tonight!”
The Camas High School fight song never rang more true in the eyes of Camas athletics. After this past weekend, athletes in wrestling, gymnastics, and swim have all brought home state medals, including team and individual honors.
Wrestling placed in the top 10, a feat not yet achieved since Camas moved up to the 4A classification. Gymnastics took second overall, the highest a team from Southwest Washington has ever placed. Swimming broke 18 records during districts alone, and even without a diving team, secured the title to become WIAA 4A defending State Champions.
Congratulations to all those who competed!
