- Marie Curie: Won two Nobel Peace Prizes for her research in science, all the while battling sexism from her male peers.
- Elizabeth 1: Was one of the most feared kings in her day because of her fierce love and devotion to her country. At the same time, she did it without a man by her side, saying that her kingdom and people were all her husband’s.
