Football Predictions for the 2022 Super Bowl

This football season has been filled with endless battles between rivals and games that run into overtime to clinch the last spot for playoffs. In Camas High School (CHS), there are a lot of diehard football fans who have strong beliefs of who will win the Super Bowl this 2021-2022 season.

Last year, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers snatched the Super Bowl from the Patriots and Tom Brady won yet another ring. This year, the odds seem to be in the Buccaneers’ favor based on what team a lot of the Camas students and staff said will win. An abundance of people think Brady will lead Tampa to another championship because of “his talent and experience,” said freshman Chelsea Parally.

“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will win because they have Tom Brady and a bunch of team chemistry,” said junior Taylor Loane.

Ms. Stevens, an English teacher at CHS said that “Tampa Bay [will win], but I don’t like Tom Brady so hopefully I’m wrong.”

CHS sophomore Hope Reng said, “definitely Buccaneers and they have Tom Brady too so they are in to win it.”

Even though Tampa Bay is thought to win it all this year by a lot of Camas students, there are still many people who think otherwise. The teams that will be part of the playoffs this year areRaiders vs Bengals, Patriots vs Bills, 49ers vs Cowboys, Eagles vs Buccaneers, Cardinals vs Rams, and Steelers vs Chiefs.

Camas junior Nora Melcher said, “[I think the] Chiefs are gonna win this year. I say that because my family is all Chiefs fans.”

“Definitely Kansas City because they got Patrick Mahomes and he is the best,” said sophomore Alex Riviera.

“Cardinals because my man Kyler Murray is a beast” said junior Brad Prouse.

Senior Haley Huckvale said, “I’m gonna have to go with the Packers.”

Some people have a team that they want to win, but they know they are destined to lose.

“I want to say 49ers but their win/loss this year is kinda crappy so I would say the Packers” said junior Caleb Perkins.

“I would usually say Alabama but they literally already lost their first name so I’ll go with the Packers” said junior Hadley Jones.

“Maybe the Packers cause they aren’t bad. The quarterback and receivers are good,” said senior Hunter Green.

Junior Tatum Harlen thinks that the 49ers will win and “they are good because they won last year too.”

There is definitely a lot of debate on who is truly the best team this season and who will pull off winning the 2022 Super Bowl on February 13th.
