Spread your views and knowledge to the rest of your school, join the journalism club to be a part of an exciting and modern newspaper! Journalism Club is open to the entire student body and meets on Wednesdays from 2:15 to 3:00 after school in portable 410.

The objective of the club is to expand students’ knowledge in journalistic writing and offer them a voice in the school paper, The Camasonian. For the first time ever, The Camasonian is online, allowing for more content and a greater realm of freedom in terms of content.

Members – and non-members – can submit articles to the staff and offer story ideas, as well as edit photos, work on the website and manage the business side of the paper.

Journalism is a fun way to express creativity in a positive environment where feedback is constantly provided and encouraged. Meetings are not mandatory but will be strongly suggested if you need help with story ideas, writing style or just want to hang out and talk news. Take this awesome opportunity to get to know writing in a whole new way!
