Through the end of the 2019-2020 school year, The Camasonian staff would like to share CSD staff and students’ “silver linings”, those things that make quarantine life more bearable as the school year winds down.
CHS Math Teacher Lori Leighton says:
What has been your silver lining personally during this quarantine time?
- Spending time at home to regroup and re-energize, having time to walk my dogs every day on our property, having my son cook for us & re-learning cribbage! The biggest silver lining is spending time with my son before he leaves for college! ♥️
What has been your silver lining professionally during quarantine?
- Validating how well my department works together ~ like getting into a rhythm with my Algebra 2 group supporting each other with lessons, videos and materials … and working on Mrs. Inzalaco’s farm together. 😊
What do you miss most about being at CHS?
- Fun times/discussions during lunch with my colleagues (shout-out to A lunch!) and fun times/discussions with my students during the day!
