Through the end of the 2019-2020 school year, The Camasonian staff would like to share CHS staff and students’ “silver linings”, those things that make quarantine life more bearable as the school year winds down.
Newly named CHS Principal Tom Morris says:
- What has been your silver lining personally during this quarantine time?
Being at home and spending time with my family. One of my kids came home early from college since she was doing work online. We started doing puzzles together, which makes a good break from staring at the computer screen. - What has been your silver lining professionally during quarantine? I think it really has given us an opportunity to rethink what we do as a school. It will provide an opportunity to make some positive changes.
- What do you miss most about being at CHS? Education is a people business, and I definitely miss the people. I can’t wait until we are all back together again.
Paraeducator Margaret Guisti says:
- What has been your silver lining personally during this quarantine time? My sweet, precious dog is elderly and has been very ill for the past 2 months. I am so grateful that I can be home with him to pamper him and give him all the special care he needs right now. He’s my sole companion and sadly nearing the end.
- What has been your silver lining professionally during quarantine? I have learned some new technical skills -always a plus but what makes me very happy is getting videos and emails from students. That fills me with joy.
- What do you miss most about being at CHS? I REALLY REALLY miss the students in our class. They have become a part of my life and I miss that daily connection with them so much.
