The Camasonian Newspaper staff has open positions for the 2019-2020 school year!
Students who are accepted to our team are known for their hard work, positive attitude, participation in classes and/or great writing ability.
This class has both year-long or semester-long options and is dedicated to covering news in Camas for the school newspaper website and the end-of-year published Camasonian magazine.
Journalism helps hone your skills ranging from writing to web design, public relations, photography, promotions, teamwork, publishing, and fundraising. Each week, put your brain to the test and come up with stories that you want to write and students, staff and local families want to read. Op-eds, movie reviews, breaking news, controversial issues at CHS, sports and club coverage — you can let your voice be heard.
No matter your talents, there is always a place for you!
This class goes toward your required CTE credit. If you have any questions or would like to apply to forecast, please contact Mrs. Hunting at [email protected].
